How to get there

PENMORE MILL.The drive here from Craignure is approximately 45 minutes. Just turn right off the ferry and head for the village of Salen – double track road so far. Then it’s single track the rest of the way. About 2 miles beyond Salen the road forks. The right hand fork sweeps round over a bridge and heads for Tobermory. You take to the left, signposted to Dervaig. When you reach Dervaig Village, just past the school bear left at the T junction, this is the Calgary road and you stay with this for about 2½miles. You will find us on your right – The mill building is fairly prominent so you shouldn’t miss us

NA FUARAIN. Drive off the ferry at Craignure, turn right onto the A849 for Salen. In Salen turn left at the church onto the B8035, drive approx 2 miles then turn right at the junction taking the B8073 for approx 9 miles, passing the Isle of Ulva, until you get to Ballygowan. Na Fuarain is the second house on the right. Drive through the gate to the parking and garden area.
